Module 1 ControlLogix Motion

Description :
This is the first module in the series covering ControlLogix Motion. This module introduces students to standard motion hardware including both the traditional analog style and the new Sercos style. Students will learn how to setup and configure both analog and Sercos axis', which includes a full understanding of all setup parameters. Students will learn how to utilize the various Auto Tuning features, to obtain peak performance out of their systems. Students will understand the various timing modes for motion instructions, which will then be used in the companion module 2. Students will learn how to harness the power of User Defined Tags to assist in organizing a ControlLogix project.

Description :

Various application examples included in this module will show students many ways to utilize this motion instruction set.

1394 Motion Controller Course Description



Using the 1394 Motion Controller with GML Commander

This course is geared to engineering and maintenance staff responsible for 1394 systems.
Participants should be familiar with motion control concepts and the host PLC used in their application.

Module 1 Introduction

Description :
This module covers the basics of the control, and how to download an existing program to it and monitor its operation.
